Microsoft has announced a critical security hole in Windows XP and Server 2003 when using Internet Explorer. The exploit is activated when navigating to an affected website. Windows Vista and Mac users are not vulnerable to this particular exploit.

TNTMAX recommend the following fix, which is a registry key change in order to prevent the vulnerability from executing. We have made this conveniently available for you to run. Please right click here and select save as to save the file to your computer.  Double click on the file and when prompted, click "Run" to open and import the registry key. Please reboot your computer afterwards. Call us if you have any questions.

As of July 14th, 2009, Microsoft has not released a patch for this issue. Therefore, it is not available for automatic install using Windows Update or Windows Server Update Services (WSUS). It is TNTMAX recommendation that all machines be patched by hand until Microsoft releases the official security patch, using our downloadable fix, or following our manual step by step process.

Microsoft has released information about the patch, which can be found here.
